Set in the fictional Republic of Santa Ana, the series explores a system where a political-religious elite uses the discourse of faith and patriotism to justify state crimes. To avoid public exposure, this elite resort to society’s worst monsters: manipulated serial killers, convinced they are fulfilling a divine and patriotic mission. The Republic of Santa Ana is sinking into its worst social crisis. The misgovernment of Gustavo Albarrán has provoked a civil insurgency demanding his immediate resignation. Faced with the imminent fall of the regime, the country’s elites decide to abandon diplomacy to play a much darker game.

From the shadows emerges “The Allies,” a powerful clandestine organization composed of politicians, high church officials, businessmen, and social leaders. This sect does not seek the salvation of the country, but rather the protection of its own privileges. It is a fragile alliance, cemented in personal benefit and an absolute readiness for internal betrayal if that guarantees individual survival.

While the killers sow terror in the streets, the members of the sect watch each other. In this environment of paranoia, silence is bought, culprits are fabricated, and loyalty does not exist. Santa Ana is no longer just fighting an ineffective government but an elite willing to unleash the worst monsters in order to hold on to power.
